A while back I posted a song called, " (::Towards The Sun::) =FINAL= " It got some great scores, but I noticed some flaws in it from peoples reviews. So, i decided to combine all that I have learned from ambient songs into one true, final Towards The Sun. Yes, I know the earlier one clearly stated, =FINAL=, but that was a final for that one specific song. This is the last ambient/New Wave song I am making, and I hope you enjoy it as much as I did making it. It is very symbolic and represents never giving up your dreams and always reaching towards the sun...

The chords and pads are somewhat different - but the very way the musical theme is approached is delicate enough to take the focus off simply the timbre itself. I believe that the random ambient elements in the song are what give it a definite edge. I enjoyed those parts the most. It's relaxing, but I can see why it might not suit everyone's tastes - it's more of a specialized type of minimalist piece.
I would note that there is some apparent crackling/distortion caused by some of the resonances from the pads and elements. Something like voxengo's crunchessor could probably alleviate that small problem.
