Decided to make this project in max rez 192khz sample rate. Wanted to make the tune longer but my CPU is already struggling and it turned out so well as a short, so I'll probably just leave it be. https://midnightsocean.bandcamp.com/track/sub-nautical

Ocean waves made in logic pro using automated EQ on a recording of my stereo model pink noise generator from Mystic Marvels. https://mysticmarvels.com/

Lead pad and clicky underwater percussion made using my Boom Star SE80. https://www.studioelectronics.com/products/desktop/Boomstar/

Nice, makes me think of Terraria for some reason
Personally I don't see any problem with the mix

Midnights-Ocean responds:

Thanks! Not the first time my stuff has reminded people of Terraria. : )

It sounds a bit rough and dry to me and I just honestly wish the instruments sounded a bit more distant. I still really like the atmosphere created! This is really nice!

Midnights-Ocean responds:

I thought the arp lead was a little too loud in a few places myself.

It's always hard for me to decide if I want the environmental sounds to be dominant or the musical elements. I originally had the waves and reverbs mixed much higher but in the past people had complained that I always mix those sort of things too loud lol.

Thanks for the feedback! : )

--Note: I updated the file to hopefully fix some of the issues.--
