I've been dabbling in lots of soundfont work for quite a while now, eh?

Good friend @Kraikein requested I make the Lupin the Third theme with the Sonic 3&K soundfont, after I showed off a WIP recreation of Cowboy Bebop's TANK! using the Mario 64 soundfont hours earlier.

Aside of the titlecard jingle at the end, all of this was done by ear. I am not kidding.

Do you know that SEGA technically owns both Sonic and Lupin III?

Lupin the Thiiiiird!~

Lupin III The Gentleman Thief: Jewel Zone

Lupin III and Sonic: two of my favorite things in one fantastic arrangement! Awesome work here :D

Absolutely amazing :)

Aside from knowing the creator of Lupin, Hayo Miyazaki, I had not really heard much of it. However, hearing this theme, makes me want to see it.

midgetsausage responds:

Hayao Miyazaki didn't make Lupin III (rather it was mangaka Kazuhiko "Monkey Punch" Kato) but he directed a lot of episodes of the early series. His first directorial debut was a Lupin film, which is Castle of Cagliostro, which sometimes gets mingled in collections of Studio Ghibli movies.

I really recommend you do see it!
