This song is technically incomplete because although it has an ending, I was planning to make a second drop and then a more solidified ending. At the moment though, my FL Studio updated and kicked me from the full version back to the demo and I need a relative's email in order to log back in. My FL Studio crashed during the making of this song, and it is backed up, but due to the fact that I have the demo, I can't actually load it. So, you may see an updated version of this song with the extension if/when I'm able to get the full version back. Hopefully the lead-off ending doesn't detract from the experience too much!
Even with the somewhat abrupt ending, this is absolutely the piece I've put the most work into thus far. It used 60-70 different layers and a similar amount of mixer tracks with effects, and almost all instruments were made from scratch with vital. I'm starting to become more confident in sound design! I still want to work on my mixing and mastering though.
I also want to add how restrictive the genre options that Newgrounds gives us are. I don't really consider this song dubstep necessarily, maybe closer to melodic dubstep if anything at all, but the other options are trance, techno, synthwave, etc., none of which fit the bill. Forgive me if you were expecting something and were disappointed due to a somewhat misleading genre classification lol. Either way though, I hope you enjoyed this piece! I'm enjoying music production a lot more than usual this year, so please feel free to leave some critiques or comments so I can make stuff you guys would like more in the future!
