I love it!
This is pretty creative song! I love the intro and ending you wrote for it the most. It's so peaceful and it makes me want to spread happiness to all, even though Christmas is still two months away.
This was an experiment in the little bits of music theory I have learned so far and a way to put a song in a contest. I experiment with 4-part harmonies, melody, and some key changes and time changes, along with tempo.
-In order of apprearance, here's what's featured.
-Intro-written by me, beautiful christmas feeling to it.
-O Come O Come Emmanuel
-March Interlude (mine)
-O Come Let Us Adore Him
-Noel (pure atari :D)
-Ending (1337)
-Drums are nintendo, some instruments aren't entirely 8-bit, but the majority of the song features the 8-bit feel required by the December MAC.
-Most importantly, enjoy!

Thanks for this review! I forgot I wrote these, but it's good to listen to this again :)
This is good.
Very good. Has a nice 8bit feel, and sounds good overall.
It's about to have a better 8-bit feel, I'll try to keep you updated on when it comes out :D

hey
Sorry for the late review.
I gotta say, anything thats 8-bit is an instant win. Now im normally not a very big fan of medleys but u did this pretty good. Gotta love those drums haha. You shoulda had jingle bells in there somewhere, that woulda sounded dope. My only beef with this song, is the non 8-bit instruments u used, overpowered everything else and it kind of lost its 8-bit feeling. The ending was leet :D
Good job on this overall, and I wish u luck in the contest

Thanks, I'm rewriting the song so that it's more 8-bit, it actually wasn't accepted because of the use of real-sounding instruments, but oh well, the newer version (when it's done) will definitely rock. Idk when I'll submit it, whenever I have time to iron everything out I suppose :D

Nice
it was a very interesting blend of music. reminded me of playing startropics back in the days when 8-bit reigned supreme. Overall nicely done and a worthy addition to the contest. good luck and have a kickass holidays.

Merry Christmas to you too (or whichever holiday might suit your taste)!
-Hmm...startropics? I never came across this one....GOOGLE!!!

Has a lot of traditional Christmas spirit
I thought it was a very nice mix of all of these songs. They didn't seem to be much of a remix, but more a nice sounding arrangement.
The 8-bit sounds were an interesting idea, but it needed more riffs like at 2:22 and 2:30. They stick to the theme, and yet give it a cool sound. :)
I've made a new song recently if you want to hear it. :D
I checked your song, nice :)
-Yeah, I was going for the 8-bit arrangement. I did everyone of those songs by ear, and then I made the chords using the 4-part harmony rules I've learned in music theory class, they're pretty helpful, but I know I've got lots to learn yet!
-Coolio, thanks for the review!
