This is one of my favourite Metallica songs so I thought I'd have a stab at covering it. I did this in September before there was the larger 8mb limit on here, which was why I didn't upload it immediately. There was also the fact that I hate most of you and didn't want to have to suffer your inane reviews and your stupid uninformed opinions.

Well damn...long time! Glad to see some shit by you (not poo) haha. Anyways man, you did a great job on this. I've always been a fan of the tone of your voice. haha, and you did a pretty awesome job. Drums sound superb too. Really like the sound of your KICK. With a bit of reverb on your snare, that would sound nice and snappy.

Otherwise man, I really liked this version. Good choice of tunes to cover, as well.

All in all. Fuckin 5'd my friend.\m/

Yeah it's been a while since I stuck anything on here as I've been busy at uni and I haven't had much chance to record stuff. The drums are courtesy of my long-suffering Boss DR-3, you can get some pretty good sounds on it and there's a lot of little workarounds and tricks I've discovered on it to allow long, complicated structures like what this song needed. Adding some reverb to the snare would definitely help but with the DR-3 I'm not sure how I could go about doing that, but I'll definitely look into it. It seems taking singing lessons is starting to pay off now, and singing all this crap is a lot easier and more fun :D
I'm going to try and get round to recording something which isn't a cover or a remix soon, and it'll no doubt find it's way onto here. Thanks for the review!

Mighty stuff, dude!

Can't believe this was on 2/5, it deserves way more than that!
Nice distorted guitars and drums, good ol' school feeling in them.
The bass in the beginning was a bit muddy and noisy but I don't really mind it that much.
Although the vocals weren't perfect, it's way better than I can do, and one helluva good try!
The half-crazy vocalstyle fits this type of music really well.
Yeah, in my opinion a great cover of this song, gets my 5 and my 10 for sure!

Thanks for the review. Yeah I was trying to get a really sick sound on this, really dark and filthy. The vocals were pretty hard to sing, there's a load of really high notes which are quite a way above my normal range. Glad to know someone who isn't retarded knows how to vote :D
