The title is a line from some lyrics that I'd originally written for this melody, which I conceived but never put to paper some time last year. They felt pretty indignant. But now I'm in a much better situation than when I wrote these lyrics, so it's reflected in the music.

I'm in a much better position than when I wrote Une Nouvelle Chance.

With Pixel Day 2022 approaching, I figured I'd at least get the instrumentation and structure down. I'd previously teased this piece on Twitter by sharing two short WIP fragments, and I'm pleased to say that it's as done as it can be right now. As usual, I went for something singable.

Mario Paint NES soundfont exclusively. Took me 4h from start to finish, and I'm surprised I found the time given the huge amounts of change I'm dealing with.

I hope that one day, I may be able to do a lyrical version of this, as this tune had me air-drumming to this and wanting to perform this on stage complete with vocals. This piece gave me quite a thrill to compose, and I hope you all enjoy it as well. No artwork yet unfortunately, but I hope to draw some when I get a moment.
