I must agree that the violin does sound rather bad when mixed with the rest of the sounds, I wish I had a better synth at the time. The keyboard I used had some good sounds, but the strings seemed a little fake (at least the violin). However, this was all rendered in one pass with a performance patch. Given the quality of the keyboard and the fact it was my first real recording, I think it came out rather well.

Thanks for the comments. This song actually almost got me banned back in 2008. The admin must not have believed in remixes being allowed on the portal or something, yet loads of remixes come onto the portal everyday and become very popular. Since then I've stuck strictly to making my own original work. But I might start doing some remixes here and there to have some fun, plus you can learn alot by working with the music of these great composers. Also, I listened to your song, it sounds great. It adds a much more original touch than my version. Great job.
