this song was inspired by.. you, because you all seem to love bringing it up that my older songs sounded like "video game songs" so... im making an album for that.

this song is actually quite old, the first few measures were made over a year ago, the thing was- when i got that far when i made them, i also- completely lost my saves for the song, i didnt have the song anywhere, and i didnt think to use history, so basically what im saying is i literally lost the song, and it stayed that way for like a year, the thing is this song was so good and so awesome for me that i literally couldnt forget the song for the life of me, the first bar of the drop basically repeated in my head all year, so i decided to try to remake it from memory, and i did that pretty damn well, and now- the song is finished, its all because the song was so good i couldnt forget it, and now im making an album from it

this song was also mostly re-made because- i miss the old music of mine, as in- the constant syncopated melodies id make, my recent songs were more experimental and had less and less melodies overall, so this was kinda just- the perfect song to remake, and now as i said, a whole album is being made, and im basically rediscovering the "art" of melody making, some parts are a bit rushed but not too rushed cuz- im responsible, im mostly having fun tho so who cares, but yea melodies are making a come back and i love it, i miss it :D

this whole song- remember this was over a year ago when i started, im pretty sure it started as a 'what if i made a video-game styled song in an odd time signature i dont work with often', so i started making that in 5/4, of course that was when i didnt make too many odd time signature songs, and i wasnt really- you know adapted to 5.2/4 so you know, i did that, video game song in 5/4 it sounds cool

if you're wondering what was made a year ago and what was made now, the first chorus and before was all a year ago, and the funny bass melody + square melody was this year and everything after that, you can probably tell that it was made this year because of the part after the second drop XD

but yea! expect some more of these, this album is called "soundtrack" btw, because- its a video game song, so it goes... in a soundtrack- i shouldnt needa explain this but ye!
