A classical take on Styx 'Come Sail Away'. It's a little repetitive, but review/vote anyway.

How has this not been used in a flash game yet? This is a very well done rendition. I congratulate you

Now thats what I call piano with beauty!

Well nothing much to say, but, superb piano work here! I love Styx and the original song! And this one is just awesome! Wish you would have continued with the piano roll at the end. Sounds like you could have gone a lil' further with it :) Anywho, lovely song! Downloaded and fav'd boss! Again, awesome job!

Nice sound

The instrumentation was right, and the song sounds good. Very peacefully and satisfying. Though there are some minor details that knocked down your score. The percussion was all over the place. In my opinion, the percussion seemed to have been inserted with little consideration, I am not talking of the cymbals though, I thought those were well placed. Also as the melodic keyboard lick just disappears I nearly threw my headphones to the ground thinking that there was a malfunction... I'm saying that they are just too sudden, l believe that the transition was not as smooth as the melody. This drove me nuts lol. Great phrases, one for the books!

Dynamic, well structured, one faulty transition.

I'm afraid I don't know the original source, so I won't be comparing this with anything else, but rather i'd like to give you my opinion and suggestions treating as an entirely original source.

At 0:35 you switch over to that vox rather abruptly. I would have liked to hear perhaps one last note to trail off at the beginning of that vox, kind of bleed it away rather then rip it away.

The re-introduction of the piano was well handled, nothing surprising, and without flaw.

The percussion is well programmed. Nothing super fancy, but effective, and constant. A tad repetitive but not to a bad point.

I really like what you did at 2:02, the song felt like it was just building up... and then it ended :'(

:'(

Lets talk about additions now.

I felt that an element that was lacking in this piece was some bass. Cello's, double bass, perhaps the deep end on the piano.

But teh why?! Oh wells.

The song has a fantastic loop quality to it, the slow ending with the fast piano at the piano, the melodies match up well, so a kudo's is in order in this regard. Especially that opening melody, just ace stuff.

I remember, a long long time ago, when you first started making tunes TMM43, you've come a ridiculous long way, and your style is beginning to develop strength *i'm talking about your other recent works as well of course*.

Keep up the good fight and keep em coming!

Really good

Starts a little slow. Love the piano part from the middle to the end :) Just too much crash most of the time (get a KIZZ fan with parkinsons to do the crash and im sure its gonna sound the same. Mind the pun would you) :P But i aint gonna drop points from that...
