I don't know what Brit pop is, but I would use this as a trancy - static type song, and in this vision it works for me.

No real melody...
There no real melody... only single tunes with sumb single background, like its not music... only like button thinie..

I cant recognize a melody so that might be the problem. Although i have to disagree that something isn't music just because it doesn't have a melody. It might be weak music or ugly music, but it still someone expressing themselves.

i see what your trying to do here but you dont have a base to it. next try to add more of a structure and a song like this would work
