After a conversation with a long-time friend about my past and different styles I had used with my music, specifically my old Sky Chase remix from 2009 (https://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/252468), I decided to revisit this piece and see if I could make it even calmer than before.
I made this the way I had since imagined. Singing the vocals the way I did represents a beacon of hope as the heroes fly through the sky, and was sung with a heavy heart of love and gratitude. It’s the same sort of attitude that I sense in the original piece itself. I’ve also wanted to do an acapella bit for a while, I’ve had many options to go with this remix and I’m really glad I chose the way I did.
I used a lot of raw emotion creating this track, there were times I would have to take a break from my recording session in order to recompose and finish off strong. I guess, conversations about my deeper past have made me appreciate even more, all the support and love I've seen over time. I wanted to reflect it right back into this song. All the more reason to have beautiful artwork to go along with it, big thanks to Mightysen for providing that atmosphere!
Thank you all so much for listening, and continuing to support my music as well! Please follow me and all of these talented people on all platforms!
