Haha, thanks man! it's so surreal having 2 back to back submissions being Front Paged. It's a humbling feeling. Thanks so much for your kind words! Looking forward to your next work as well!
I really like this! I loved the way you eased into the song and I think you nailed the transition from a low energy part to a high one. It passes off such a nice feeling as well! I don't have much else to say about this because I think this was done super well so 5/5 for me. Please post the one with the lyrics! Also sorry it took me like 10 years to review this.
There is plenty of heavy in this heavy metal. Good use of guitar work, it really comes through very well. If you are going to redo a song, you have to improve upon it. This redo, did its job. I really enjoy this newer version.
Thank you so much for listening man! I definitely try to revisit some of my favorite songs every now and again as I notice myself improving over the years. I'm really happy with this one. but I have another song coming down the pike that I've been working and reworking for YEARS now. I'm actually really excited for this next one!
Love the lead guitar over the reverbed cleaner guitar. It's quite melancholic but then the rhythm guitar comes in and I feel like I'm back in 1991. I really like the "alt-rock" sound. I'll have to check out the version with vocals. Nice chorus riff. Actually I started playing guitar last night with a friend and this is giving me more incentive to get back into it. You're style and my style of rhythm are kinda similar. I like this a lot! please post the one with vocals! 5/5
Thanks alot man! i really wanted something dark and ominous but with a heavy overtone while maintaining an 'old-school vibe. The lyrics really impact the song alot so i'll probably record some vocals on it soon. I'll PM ya when it's out! And hell yea man! If you ever want to try and collab on something, I'd be down! Just hmu!
Please contact me if you would like to use this in a project. We can discuss the details.
