Hideous Thunder is the soundtrack to a boss stage in the fictional video game Cloudbait.

Cloudbait is a rhythm-based bullet hell, think Just Shapes & Beats or Project Arrhythmia. Instead of controlling the player character - a little bubble - directly, the player instead uses the cursor to blow or suck air to maneuverer the bubble around, like the bubble levels in Mario Galaxy. It can become quite chaotic with a lot of hazards on screen while you clumsily slide around!

Everything is weather themed. Hazards include raindrops, hail, lightning strikes, buffeting wind, and scorching sunshine. Even otherwise innocent things like rainbows and fluffy clouds can burst your bubble!
