Without using sound cues, It was clear that a special bonding moment between Sonic and Tempest called for extreme chill vibes. Ones that emulate from a calm guitar of course! Some of the inspiration for this came from the dramatic cutscenes of numerous Sonic games, as well as Final Fantasy. A moment of rest amidst chaos, an eye of the storm, but a very enjoyable one. It reminds one how precious time can be. I'm not sure exactly how much emotion EkoNeo used in this track, but you can tell his heart was in it.
