Creative Director: Pauly B

Producer/Composer: Funkyzukin

This track created by Funkyzukin is the last scene of Sonic Legacy's first episode right after Omelette Robotnik is defeated and Sonic finds another clue and a bone chilling discovery. You can watch Episode 1 on YouTube here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4x5nTrSWCbQ

Because this piece was such a short and dramatic cliffhanger, it called for something slow-building and orchestral. What I didn't expect out of this was something that was scary just to hear! Funkyzukin illuminated the drama of the scene into timpanis and strings in a way that was so atmospheric, the slight speed change before the drop is always interesting to me, and the brief DnB beat afterward really brought out the urgency of the situation, it kinda reminds me of the ever-so-intensifying drowning theme from the original Sonic games. The conclusion was supposed to be sadder as the narrator takes us out of the episode, in which it's nothing but strings and sitar. Overall, a great way to end the episode!
