You are right. The basic theme of this song is about the end of the world, but at the same time, I was deeply impressed by nature's recovery. I was deeply moved by the natural scenery that he saw while realizing his slow death in the midst of an ending world. I tried to express my feelings as they were, rather than make it into a comfortable song.
