"Uriah is a reclusive witch who lives by the sea. Her magic is best compared to that of those peculiar shells that line the beaches near her hut: Intricate yet Hardy. Unlike many witches on the mainland, she uses her magics to aid the nearby fishing hamlet instead of simply being a recluse.

Her best known spell is what is known as the "Downward Spiral", in which she hexes an object so that it spins so fast that it begins to drill into the ground. It's quite popular with the children of the village, who love to ask the "Spin-Shell Witch" to hex them in order to get buried in the sand, only to dig their dizzy selves out as fast as possible. The record is 13 seconds, held by the Village Elder who, back in his youth, was good friends with Uriah. Time may have been unkind to the Elder, but their friendship stood the test of time, although Uriah constantly teases him for his wrinkled face. To this, the Elder points out Uriah's beauty mark on her pointed nose, calling it a wart (as is common among older witches), to which Uriah promptly hexes him."
