I think it's not so much cinematic-sounding as perhaps 20th century/romantic. It's definitely not classical, I can see that. But it's definitely not cinematic. It's also not "a children's concerto," as you said. I'm not even sure what you meant by this. Why would anyone write a concerto for children? The style isn't childlike either; it's rather mature. I'm just confused here. Did you listen to the concerto in its entirety? All three movements? It's a full work, so take that into account. Listening to just this movement will definitely affect your view on the work.

Anyway, though I don't see you as being overly critical, your score of 5/10 didn't really suit your level of criticism. Think of it as a test. A 50%. Severely failing, in your opinion? I don't see that.

I'm not worried about XGEN0CID3 really. There's sadly always someone who doesn't like Classical, and yeah he should've known, but oh well.
