After a number of oddball submissions of varying quality throughout 2020, I decided to (belatedly) ring in 2021 with an actual banger. I actually learned a lot from my "experimental year". This is my first serious attempt at dubstep in a while, specifically my first EVER attempt at "deathstep", which attempts to fuse heavy metal with EDM/dubstep.

Once again this was all made note by note on the app Caustic 3. Absolutely NO samples were used in the making of this piece. Took me about ten hours total over the course of 3 days to make this song, going off of specifically the time I dedicated exclusively to working on it.

Picture yourself alone and afraid on a hostile alien landscape. You are fighting a war you do not understand against an enemy you cannot see. That is what this song is meant to evoke.
