flying cows?
this song reminds me of something i can't quite place.
i guess that's a good thing.
pretty weird :D this could be the theme song for a cartoon.
It begins weird because theres an intro I left out (it was seperate on the CD)

It does? Holy shit. That's weird because I got that same feeling of Deja Vu too, but its not really deja vu its just like.... its trying to remind you of something but you just dont know what... especially that one part where it gets calm and theres that piano playing in the background.... I think I know what you're talking about there. As for flying cows... haha. Best for me not to go there :)
chillzin
i luffles this one.. it's so as i said Chillzin
Chillzin is ok. I perfer Coldzin or sometimes Frozin.
Farmers picking cotton...
Why do I get this image of a load of people picking cotton, getting pleasure from putting scarecrows up and singing annoying folk songs? It's gotta get a 5 for making me think that weird shit...
hahahaha! you need to lay off the crack there mister :)
well if it adds to the mystery at all, the song was actually based on the first page of a comic book of mine. It was a black crow flying through the sky. This song sort of depicts what it would feel like to fly. But then I kind of lost that train of thought and did a bunch of other stuff too, but you get the idea.
Loving the Drums!
You have very great pads and drum samples in this one. I just don't like the phaser synth/ chorus synth. Sounds a bit strange and it kinda doesn't fit/ Anyways, please return the favor and drop me a review sometime!
P.S. Where did you get those sexy drum samples?
--Armymenis12--
Ah, the sexy drum samples :) Yes Reason has really good samples. I usually ruin them by adding too much compression or distortion, but this time I dont think I used either at all... I think this was a preset drumkit, which I dont use very often as well. I forget which one though... I'm at school right now but when I get home I'll try to remember to review some of your stuff. Thanks man!
meh....
Generic.
Way too freaking generic...
Next time, try to make something original that will capture a lot more attention.
Hm... I never realized that it sounded generic. But now that you mention it I can sorta tell. You see, that's a problem of mine. After only a few hours of working on a song, I stop hearing it. It's difficult to explain, but thats what happens. I cant tell if it's good, bad, boring, generic, whatever. When I first start writing a song, I take mental note of whether I like it or not. I promise myself that I'll keep working on it no matter what, even if I hate it down the road.
But thank you for the advice, I'll keep that in mind next time!
Please contact me if you would like to use this in a project. We can discuss the details.
