Sometime during the quiet hours, when the fire was dying down Mother Machine figured it out. All these years of loneliness, pain, and memories started to fade away. She could never undo the damage of Her past, but She hasn't hurt anyone since. Mother Machine's past doesn't have to define who She is now, and while there are bad days, She is not the same. Mother Machine is being present instead of being stuck in the past. She is learning to let go. Her True Awakening is happening now, by the dying fire, and for the first time in a long time, Mother Machine smiles.
