anti child abuse rock music
First and foremost, while there are several layers of meaning to this one, I want to emphasize that this is primarily an anti child abuse song. Nothing about this should be construed as encouraging/condoning/inciting violence towards children, or anyone for that matter.
That said, this might be my favorite from my new EP, "Moloch Eats Connecticut", as well as one of the first tracks I made the consists mostly of recordings from analogue equipment. I hope you guys enjoy it!
If you'd like to listen to the full EP, you can do so on Spotify, YouTube, Soundcloud, or just about any major streaming service.

Lyrics:
Praise the owl
The stone is alive
Burn the father
The soul is a lie
We all have our reasons
To stay intertwined
This is the season
To do what he bides
Kill the child
I don't wanna hold him
Feel the laughter
Never wear that smile
Forgive the monster
(I don't wanna hold him)
He wants to save the world
(I don't wanna know him)
Find the others
(I don't wanna hold him)
Together you'll be alone
(I don't wanna know him)
We all have our reasons
To stay intertwined
(I don't wanna know him)
This is the season
To do what he bides
Kill the child
I don't wanna hold him
Feel the laughter
Never wear that smile
Kill the child
(I don't wanna hold him)
I don't wanna hold him
(I don't wanna know him)
Feel the laughter
(I don't wanna hold him)
Never wear that smile
(I don't wanna know him)
(I don't wanna know him)
anti child abuse rock music
I love the ambience you created with this one. The pacing of your beat does you big favors. Very easy to listen to big man. Hats off to you, great job. Reminds me a little of Depeche Mode.
Glad you liked it! Thanks for the feedback!
Idk why but the vocals on this remind me of metric... either way really like the guitar tones you get on this.
My only gripe might be that the beat’s just a little repetitive but not enough to detract overall.
Thanks for the feedback! And yeah I've heard the metric comparison from a few people now. I must say, I do like Synthetica, and I think it was an influence in the back of my head. And yes! Repetitive indeed. I need to work on developing more complex structures. I tried to quite a bit with this one, and I just couldn't make it happen. Everything I tried just sucked. Sometimes that's just how it goes I suppose. Perhaps I just need to be a bit more patient with it.
