Here is a song I wrote after bouncing back from a long period of writers block, haha. I was inspired by the conspiracy theory that reality as we know it is a computer simulation. It's a really kooky theory to be sure, but perfect subject matter for a mellotron and moog-laden psychedelic progressive rock track. Enjoy friends!

LYRICS:

It’s been a thousand years since last I saw your face.

The thought is crystal clear of every time and place.

Let the record show that we have gone extinct.

But I won’t tell a soul about our phantom link.

We are lost in the well of time.

Forced apart by a cosmic mind.

I can see in my mind’s eye, the world that I left behind.

Someone help me make it real again.

My dreams and my memories, and all of my reveries.

They all now live only in my head.

The program’s getting old, and crumbling at the seams.

The software of my soul can’t discern the sky from trees.

Spaces fill the holes where my mind once occupied..

The fragments of the void and the fates of smothered light.

We are lost in the well of time.

Forced apart by a cosmic mind.

I can see in my mind’s eye, the world that I left behind.

Someone help me make it real again.

My dreams and my memories, and all of my reveries.

They all now live only in my head.

sounds good!

If we are in a computer simulation, then I pray for that program to not be installed on a windows like system, because then the future of the universe is fucked. Good music.
