Yesterday's prompt was "spring" -- but I was in excruciating pain. It has subsided, so I am picking up the slack today.

The spring equinox is in two days, and I figured it would be an opportune time to actually write something reminiscent of the season. I'm feeling in the mood for something playful anyway, I've been quite peemy and I need some meep. Quite frankly, I don't care how messy this track is -- I'm just glad to have gotten it out.

Oh, man. This brings back childhood memories of plays I performed in. My mom would play the instrumentals in her car on the way to and from places and we’d practice our parts. Almost as soon as this started my brain started writing lyrics for a sung part. A very “first day of my life, fresh start on a blue sky day” kind of vibe. 10/10 would recommend.

The title made me think of stardew valley, also this songs reminded of jolly roger bay music for some reason
