This is my most recent song idea. It is a very unique piece in that I’ve never participated in creating anything that has this feeling before. Usually I’ll write songs with a more darker, serious, and contemplative edge. This one, however, differs. When I listen to it, I feel cool, triumphant, and light-hearted.

Looking back, I must say, I hear that I was channeling sonic influence from David Bowie’s Earthling and Scary Monsters, Talking Head’s Remain in Light, and Interpol’s Turn on the Bright Lights. These artists have influenced me and continue to do so in new, interesting, and challenging ways. I suggest a listen.

There was much pleasure in making this tune, I hope you have the same when listening to it.
