Huge, crunchy basses. Sirens. Industrial. Chaotic. Deadly. This song was made with inspiration from the Chernobyl nuclear disaster. I also revived this project from more than 2 years ago!
Back in 1986, April 26, the greatest nuclear disaster of all time happened over at the nuclear power plant near the Ukrainian city Chernobyl. Due to the extreme heat and explosions, the core began to melt down. Corium (molten highly radioactive materials, sand and concrete) ate its way down through the ceiling of the basement underneath the core. In the upper left corner of the cover, you can see a photo of this black radioactive lava. It's 'The Elephant's Foot'. In 1986, one minute of close contact would already give you a deadly dose of radiation. Til this day, the 2,600 km2 (1,000 sq mi) zone called the Exclusion Zone around the power plant is still highly radioactive and access is restricted. This first ever photo taken of the elephant's foot (the one in the cover) was taken in 1996 by an unnamed Russian man. He went down, took this picture and came back up. He allegedly died from radiation sickness. (Hence the end of the track)
