Decided to extend the desert theme that I wrote for 21 Days of VGM, as I felt it was way too good to not use or develop. Hopefully now, it is going to be in the same game as the last three loops I wrote.

The original, along with the original tweet dating back to when I made the shorter form of this loop, can be found on the left sidebar (or below if you're on mobile).

Very magical. This could work in an ice cave too. Love the plucked and the vibrato strings. Hmm..reminds me of FFXII.

Troisnyx responds:

Ding ding ding, we have a winner! 💖
FFXII was a big influence of mine for this, as was FFX with its Sanubia / Bikanel theme, and of course film score in general.

Amazing job as usual. Love the texture, the chord progressions are incredible, and the air you left at the top without over compressing really sets this apart as being pretty professional honestly. Bravo.

When most people write songs about Deserts, the first thing they think about is the extreme heat and lack of water everywhere, with the overall danger of a heat stroke or dehydration. When you write a song about a Desert, you show their hidden beauty.

Troisnyx responds:

Stories about desert blooms intrigue me very much. Thank you for the kind words. <3

Does remind me of ff7 but not the prelude. Prob the space scene with nanakid grandpa.

Reminds me of the FF7 Prelude theme
