amazing music that reflect the background story of it.
This is definitely not my best work as it is a little rushed (due to school and other projects and stuff), but I hope you enjoy it nevertheless. This is my entry for the Newgrounds Video Game Music Challenge, I chose Northpeaks Spy as my topic.
Setting (by Everratic):
The year is 1454, and you’re a spy for the Swordwin empire during a time of great strife. You were sent to work in Northpeaks, the northernmost territory and the origin of a growing rebellion. Swordwin’s neighboring allies have been invaded, and thousands of refugees are being resettled throughout Swordwin’s territories; most of Northpeak’s population vehemently oppose refugee resettlement in their land, and there have been calls for secession from several prominent leaders. You’re tasked with traveling throughout the territory in the guise of a wandering musician to collect information on what people are thinking about the issue of rebellion and how the refugees are being treated and what supplies are needed by the resettlement services. You travel from city to city, village to village, staying at inns wherever you go and playing music to cover your expenses.

amazing music that reflect the background story of it.
thank you :)
It's a calming and gentle piece. The transitions are done well (for my ears at least) and there is a well-paced build. I think at 1:23, the music shifts a bit. I almost think this could be two separate compositions. Have you thought splitting it at all?
Yea I've thought of splitting it but I used the same theme/melody so I still included it in here. Thanks for listening!
I love it! I imagine myself walking into a dark cave in a dark, creepy night.
0:56 makes me imagine a hooded figure stalking me, creeping me out!
I wish there was a extra star, too good!
Amazing song, I love it!
Keep it up!
Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed :)
Wonderful! It feels like the song is telling me a secret and a story <3
Because it is telling a story! :D
You can read about the story (written by Everratic) in the description while you listen, I'm glad you enjoyed it!
0:56 to 1:14 was my favorite part. I got goosebumps there. Really captured the soft, majestic medieval vibe!
