Octagon force! It had to happen :D

So.. I came across the original hexagon force file, and started playing around with the instruments and riffs in my off-time. Some weeks later, and here we are! I've seen a lot of people joking about this being the sequel, so I just decided to embrace the meme and call it exactly that.

This track went through many stages and had parts removed and remade. It was not really supposed to be such a monumental task, but as always that's what ended up happening. I'm happy with the end result, but It was a journey, and enough is happening that I'm sure you will discover even more melodies on listen 2 and 3. However, I am not completely happy with the mastering. I also insisted on keeping 16 bit drums in the track because I like that hollow bit-crushed sound, but it also made the job a lot harder. With the amount of instruments and distortion in this track, I had to just call it a day at some point. I've worked for SO long on this track now I feel like the track is burned into my brain-stem. I hear it in my sleep. So I have no idea how it actually sounds for a normal person, there might be way too much going at any given time. Maybe one day it can get a remaster, but for now, this is what I have the energy for haha.
