Pluvia Promo Poster

Here is a promo picture for something I will probably never finish! (Crosses fingers)

The original idea came from the theme of the recent comic jam. But as usual, I could not finish my comic on time, so I decided that it would work a lot better as a movie. So that is what I will be up to for the next while.

It looks good except for the fact that the boat has no reflection/shadow in/on the water. Hope you finish the movie, it looks interesting enough from just this one still! Good luck :D

Thanks for that! :D

To tell you the truth I did try to put in a reflection of the boat which you can of see if you look carefully. But I couldn't make look that good so I had to lower the opacity to such an extent that nobody would notice it unless they knew it was there.

I'm still trying to get this whole water reflection thing down >.<

Does exactly what a promo should - excite me for the finished thing. Pleeeeassseeee finish this?

ZombieMonkey responds:

Thank you so much! I hopefully will! :P

Ok so this was kind of nifty here I love all the lighting and darkness of it. Maybe there should. Be more lighting effects with the moon lighting the water but don't darken the sail boat anymore then it is. Lighting effects can go a long way. Just a thought. But other then that I really liked this. The drawing and character cameout pretty well.

So as mentioned above some more lighting effects would be nice but for what it is this was pretty good already.

Thanks for your advice! :D

To tell you the truth, this was really my first attempt at doing this kind of lighting in a piece. I'm still nowhere near being good at it and I appreciate all the help I can get in improving upon it. :D
