She Came Out of the Rubble Crying

Share

The enemy detonated three explosives in our base. But one of those explosives fell on Stesy and Nelly's little house. The house where their daughter was. With the dust smoke from the explosion, we couldn't see anything, but after a few seconds, I started to make out something. I saw a little girl limping out of the rubble. She was crying her eyes out and seemed to be saying something like, "Where are my parents ?" Since I could see her, I went to her and took her to the infirmary. The little girl could barely stand, so I picked her up and carried her out. After I got out of the dust cloud, I saw Nelly, Stesy and some nurses running towards me in a panic. They laid the girl on a stretcher and took her to the infirmary. I hoped she would be okay, because even though I didn't see her much and didn't even know her name, she was adorable and very nice with me and others. After about 20 minutes, I saw Stesy come out of the infirmary. She saw me too, and seeing that I was very worried about their daughter, she came to me and told me that I didn't have to worry anymore because she was alive. Nelly and the medical team were able to save her. Stesy still has a lot of work to do, so she had to leave, but before she left she told me, "When you see my daughter, you play with her, yet it seems to me that you don't know her name. Her name is Elena." So that day I participated in the rescue of little Elena, the daughter of Stesy and Nelly.
