This is a painting I did for my Art 2 class! It's based on Sargent's painting, Carnation Lily Lily Rose. Our assignment was to change official art into a modern day message. The point I was trying to get through is that in modern life today, technology is making up most of our lives and that we spend too much time using it. (It's not like I don't do so myself. *u*;; xD) Like in the painting, these two friends are together, but both not communicating, and are on their phones. I see this in plenty of places. But yeah!
