My entry for Jazza's Pokemon Challenge. Cutting it close to the deadline, but I'm happy with where it's at. I usually lurk on the challenges and love seeing other's work, but I felt this one was worth a shot. Combining Charizard and Onyx, into...Charnyx? Yeah, let's go with that. I really wanted to capture the "epicness" and utter heat you'd feel just being in it's presence.

I grew up on Pokemon and I still have a lot of the cards I wasted all my money on. Had a lot of fun with this challenge and it was great dipping back into that nostalgia for a while.

What do you guys think? Does it work?

This is so cool and well done! Love the art style, it makes it look really epic. I just would've loved to see more of the fusion itself :)

I'm so glad I didn't waste my time by taking part in the competition, no way I would've beat this. Definitely finalist material. Good work man!

The sense of scale is intense!! And the glow, well lighting in general, is amazing! Well executed my friend.
