Oh the Smaugness

never since the ending of Inception have i seen such unanimous theater crowd reaction. but unlike Inception, this was mostly negative. i mean i was under the impression that the smaug thing would get covered in this film, but nearing the last 30 minutes of the film i realize that they were making a makeshift climax to this film. and indeed that it was.

truth be told the film was enjoyable. it was filled with padding just like the first Hobbit film but this time to me it felt like more interesting padding. its both weird and interesting, to see the world of Tolkien padded by Fanfiction. check out Legolas, hes playing with all cheats on LOL. it mostly fits in but i am still of the mind that this should have been a two film affair. i will say that Smaug was boss. best part of the film…until it descends into a looney tunes routine.

im kinda dreading going to see the third one a theaters. i half expect for Peter Jackson to surprise us with another cliffhanger “hey guys go see the next films. im sure it will be the last one .teehee”

Accurate depiction of the ending that was indeed a stupid idea. Though it's good to see that some people don't say the whole movie sucked just because of the ending.
