cool, 9/10 cause its not in color.
but a creature would need 3 arms to use that, usualy creatures have 2/4 arms, so one arm would go with nothing?

I was envisioning a 4 armed creature actually.. :)
Either one are would go with nothing, or it would somehow manage the shield with two arms, Either on one side, or if I wanted to get retarded with it, I'd make it to where the creature would use say: top left and bottom right arms to wield the shield diagonally!!!
LoL - I think it may be simplest to go with two handed shield on one side or the other.
I also figured them to be rather tall and lanky... So the length of the shield was appropriate...
Ok.. I guess I'll just have to draw the creature now!
Wow
I want them! All i noticed that struck me as weird was the fact that the daggers' shadow makes it seem like they are hovering. Also I can't figure out if it's one shield or two. please write in the authors comments!
Yes! I did add the shadows to give it more of a 3 dimensional sense...
I wanted it to seem like they were real objects, not just a symbol.. but something that could actually hang on the wall!
It is one, tall shield and two blades.
Also.. these aren't meant to be used by humans.. So one being is supposed to be able to use the shield AND both of the blades.
Probably makes this even more interesting!
Was just some random thoughts I had, didn't think anyone would care to know, but since you asked... ;]
nice drawings
Tell us more in the comments- where does your inspiration come from? The view of the blades etc is a bit too standard- formula for my taste, but perhaps you had some kind of symbol/ heraldry in mind.
remarkable
the details are wicked, if i knew how to get my drawings into the ol' computer in that quality I would have done nothing else than draw
Thanks!
Gawd, scanning is a bitch! Still figuring out the whole digitalization process. D:
hmm
at first glanc I was reminded of arachnids from starship troopers.
