I was watching Princess Mononoke for the first time the other day and I clearly got inspired for this piece .

I am actually surprised I made this since I usually don't do pictures with scenery since it does not turn out too well very often. What I am even more surprised about is that it only took me 3.5 hours to draw. :S Didn't take a single break though.

No clue what the creatures are :S. Up for you to decide! Hope you like it

Princess Mononoke is a favorite movie of mine, and I've noticed it inspires many to make different kinds of art involving nature, spirits, and animals. This is the most unique I've seen in the the creatures you call lurkers are seemingly dark and spooky, in addition to their cute aspects.

Ah, thank you! That was exactly what I tried to capture, since I think the movie did that very well as well with many different creatures. It just inspired me a lot in general, beautiful film :).
