More traps. Because traps are good. They're the perfect balance for gayism.
This guy is probably an example on how my good old scalie species will be overhauled. Instead of ALL their blood vessels and scales glowing, it's only their largest muscle fibers that will glow. This is the Corrupter, one of the subspecies. The Corrupter is generally weak compared to the 2 other subspecies, but they have a great power: psychic communication. They are capable to communicate with the same members of their subspecies thanks to those funny long floaty ear things you see at the back of their heads. The issue though, is SIGNAL. The stronger one's psychic health is, the wider the communication range is. There is no way for a corrupter to increase their psychic range- it's something they are born with. One Corrupter can mentally communicate with many at once. They're also usually smart and wise.
Those little things on their back ARE NOT tentacles... well, sort of. They have a limited length and they have a bone structure within them- so they can't wiggle all around how the corrupter wants. Those things are primarly there for self-defense and for mother corrupters to keep the nest safe while carrying the children with both of her arms. Those bony wings do not use that much energy to move around and they're a good form of weaponry if one corrupter is exhausted in the middle of a fight. They're also highly durable- if dislocated, one can easily put the bones back to their place. If broken or cut off, they grow back in less than 48 hours.
So yeah, my species is... taking a more alien-side lol
Also changing their name from Aluminous to Luminous.
