Clara didn’t survive the crash. It was only thanks to her stepfather that she managed to live: via a copy of her brain.
He couldn’t imagine having a family without her since the accident, so he built a robot that could mimic her likeness.
Only except… Each one found out about this, and her stepfather had to reset her, over and over and over again.
Until one time… She managed to escape his grasp.
She found an armored suit he was in the progress of making- not knowing what purpose it had, she wore it and escaped.
Eventually, she changed her name, and decided to let the world know of her existence.
