I am dazed by it.
It's just...the fine lines, the texture put into the girl. but even though she is the main focus here, i can't help but be enthralled by the background. he depth of the background. just, the depth. THE DEPTH. i love it, and i feel as though you brought a little insane creativity into the world of steampunk. As for the girl, well, remnants of skystone had a character that looked just like her. eerie.
Skystone? Never heard of it.
it's as if mantis and meryl had a love child and out came this little nightmare.
You know...I DID think of Meryl after I finished drawing the hair but I never really thought about Mantis...good eye, mate
I like that this picture has a hint of madness to it- and that it moves from full color to a simple outline of a blimp on the right. Cool!
that's a character befitting an anime series or a console game :) awesome!
The foreground shading is important in this, and you've done a nice job balancing the light and dark which really boost the overall epicness. The texture for the foreground also looks cool.
The gas mask looks great to me but i'm no master at it either.
