Mannifezestorothistophiles was a star vampire whose life dated back before the creation of humanity. She used to be just like her brethren, an epicene, faceless horror whose invisible form revealed itself after draining the blood of their prey. Manny was one of the beasts to witness the first destruction of the earth.

The earth’s mountainous crust crumbled, and its waters boiled and dried. The stars around it fizzled and flickered until they died. In the darkness, the remains of the dead earth crust melted off its core and funneled below to become a new world, The Netherworld. Manny noticed unknown, dark energy encircling the new funnel-like structure and drifted closer to investigate.

The thaumic radiation was so reactive it clung to Manny’s body and made every nerve in her body scream in agony. It burnt her skin alive and made her organs feel like they were melting. Manny’s blood became an inky, oil-like substance, which oozed like putrid honey. The last thing to succumb to the violent corruption was her brain, which refused to falter. Something within Manny’s mind clicked. She tapped into it to discover that she could command the radioactive energy to cease.

Manny used her new powers to heal and create herself a new body. She honed her new skills until she could transform the energy into her unique element. Disaccordecadence. An unstable, chaotic element that can manipulate order and disorder in the cosmos. It can spread like a virus, bringing distortion, agony, and destruction wherever it travels. Manny surpassed her brethren, and she became an omnipotent mistress of madness.

Little did Manny know about the consequences of her new obsession. It broke her mind the more she used it. Manny lost her memories and of those who she loved. She couldn’t even remember her name. Manny became one with her false element: destructive, unstable, and greedy. Her only motive is to spread her influence and devour all in her way.

Gods had sent their armies to thwart her, but none of them could escape the terrible black and glowing ooze that Mannifezestorothistophiles produced. Holy messengers turned into mindless servants or perished, their corpses worn by Manny like bejeweled trophies. It wasn’t until an old friend of Manny’s confronted and challenged her in an epic battle.

Manny defeated her old partner, but the dying beast used what was left of her life to curse Mannifezestorothistophiles and seal her away for good. Enraged, Manny spends years trying to escape her jailor's void-like prison. Sometimes, she'll try to seduce her old partner. She even goes far as to enter and alter the cosmic being’s stories.

Her jailor refused to give in to any of Manny’s temptations. Yet, she refuses to leave Manny alone and pass on. Something about "unfinished business”... Manny tried to convince the stubborn half-specter that she can’t cure the uncurable. She also griped about how that stupid ghost keeps addressing her by that strange name... "Ezther". Why does that name sound so familiar?

AUTHOR'S NOTE:

Mannifezestorothistophiles― I mean "Manny" has been a character I've had for a long time. I've had her as a concept character for about nine to ten years. Manny's concept used to be a figure I saw in my nightmares. I changed her design a LOT, but most failed because the outcomes didn't stick with me. I finally hit my "eureka moment" since I started developing Violet as a persona/character. (Well, that and a personal project I've been working on for the same amount of years.)

Manny's a manipulative and menacing villain, a powerful being who doesn't give a damn about making a fool of herself. In the end, Manny knows she'll always win the game. If the whole star vampire bit sounds a bit familiar, one of her inspirations is Uvhash from James Ambuehl's "The Advent of Uvhash."

(P.S., Oh, were you wondering about the whole “chess thing”? Manny caught wind about chess from spying on earth. She’s been obsessed about that damn game ever since. She constantly expresses her enthusiasm about it and now it’s become an aesthetic with anything she creates. She’s pretty good at the game too.)

(P.P.S., Mannifezestorothistophiles's name is pronounced (man-nee-fez-esther-raw-this-toph-fill-ees). Yes, the name is frustrating. It's supposed to be frustrating. Just call her Manny lmao.)

(I swear, Ezther got high on those toxic fumes when she made that name up...)
