Learning how to paint with a mouse... again. Baby steps in GIMP.

You could draw fingers so well :O
(For me,a rounded smudge of ink is as far as I could get :P)

VicariousE responds:

Aw, thanks! Considering how big the brush was, it came out okay.
Well, at least we're born with reference materials lol! I like your work, you're always improving :)

amazing shading and coloring!!!

VicariousE responds:

Aww, you're very sweet, but it's just smudge :) and done in under an hour. After so many years and reviews of other ppl's work, I decided to put up or shut up.

I'm genuinely happy I managed to highlight features and structure... and dem back muscles, sorta.

GIMP is definitely the way to go. Wit all dem funky functions XD I like this

VicariousE responds:

Aw, you're way too kind. It's just a smear tool, that I managed to tweak just right.

simple but nice

VicariousE responds:

Much obliged! I smeared this together in under an hour. Kinda felt like I didn't have control over the piece, while using the smear brush though. Perspective got tweaked out of proportion as well :(

This is a pretty nice sketcy, I like the cloudy style of drawing, the color combinations and text. I wonder how the text would've looked in a similar style though, not so straight and fonty. Also, the heart looks a bit distorted on the right side, but overall, nice work!

VicariousE responds:

Thanks for the sharp eyed review! My first computer speed sketch in a decade, woo-hoo!
Interesting idea about a font, might just try that next time. Don't forget to use the "P" word in reviews (practice!), 'cause I need plenty of that.
