Throughout my travels across the Internet as these disasters have been unfolding throughout the weeks, there have been many arguments over which nation is the most important to worry about. I ask can we all not worry about more than one country at a time? Have we become so simple-minded that we have to argue about which country deserves more of our attention than another? Disaster does not choose, nor does it discriminate, it occurs at random times. In my eye there is no right or wrong about which country deserves more attention, as they are all equally important to me. To my knowledge every country has people; men, women, children, all with families and lives. Which country they live in does not change the fact that I still mourn over their losses and want nothing but the best outcomes out of their hardships.
So whatever we do, wish, pray, hope, donate, or anything else, we must remember that everything does help. It helps us to stand tall as fellow humans living in the same world. It helps us to remind ourselves that there are others who care for all, and not just themselves. It helps.
Thank you all for your time and I hope I've put some thoughts into your minds.
