About to Save the Princess

Hi guys! This is my first illustration, and I'm happy with it! I was so committed to this drawing that I spent 3 days on it! Being the frugal person that I am, I didn't use Photoshop like how most people do. I used an app on my iPad called Procreate made for drawing! Since I like video games so much, I decided to make this drawing based off that topic. :) See you guys later!

Welcome to Newgrounds! Its always great to see new people join up here with enthusiasm and a hard working attitude. Remember to take on good advice, ignore idiots, and always work to improve yourself. Your composition here is well done! Its simple but fun, well framed and cute. There are plenty of things that could be improved on, but being new to all of this, just take it slow, have fun and keep working! Thanks for sharing and good luck :)

Thanks Jazza! Thank you for taking your time at looking at this, and I hope to improve! Since I don't have Photoshop (and Flash isn't really the best for making illustrations like your's) I actually used an iPad to make this, and I like how this turned out! Thanks so much for the review!

EDIT: Thank you for putting me in the showcase!

Pretty swell for a first illustration. The sword slightly resembles Finn's first sword. (from adventure time)

urbfilms responds:

Yeah, I watch a lot of Regular Show and Adventure Time, and I really liked the way Finn's sword looked! And somehow, without even noticing, a somewhat resemblance to Finn's sword appears in my drawing! Thanks!

This is pretty great. The colors are quite nice and it's just a peacefully piece. And that fact that you're proud and happy with it makes it even better. Very nice!

Thanks! I tried to mix watercolor with digital painting, and I thought it turned out pretty good!
