"And Arthur emerged then, from the forest of his childhood, cleansed in water, reborn, and ready to live again; and he wielded in his hand the sword stained by the blood of his father, pried from the corpse of his enemy; and he wielded in his mind Excalibur, his weapon, not forged from bronze or iron but from dreams - a dream of a kingdom that could be, that shone and glittered in the sunlight behind his eyes."
A very quick 5-10 minute sketch that was then inked and finally coloured. This is one of my first ink jobs so it's pretty shoddy; practice makes improvement. Colouring was in a whooollleeeee seven minutes, but hey, when you're drawing comics, that's all the time you get, right? I'm thinking about doing 12 pages worth of comic in this style (albeit with watercolour for the colouring) for my Year 12 Sutdio Art final piece
I am in love with Mignola. What an absolute God. His style is so much fun to draw. This fella is my own, though.
Please, for the love of God, don't view fullview. That's not how it's intended.
