This I did for a project for digital media certificate IV I recently finished. It was a very low poly model with HyperNURBS applied to it, I decided how far I could experiment sculpting with HyperNURBS to get a desired smooth result. I was quite happy with the results, I originally aimed for an alien style terror machine and ended up with something that looked like a metal model toy. So going with the look I decided to throw on some simplistic chrome and bronze textures which included normal maps and specular maps.
I also threw together a quick background for it as well. Since it has now been submitted I feel it should be safe to upload it online. This was my third fully finished piece of work. My second I'll upload tomorrow. I am rather proud of this. This is a reduced version of a finished render, was done in poster size but re sized it and reduced it from 16-bit to 8-bit for web.
