Today in concept art for Adventures of Zack the Great, I have drawn a birb. And I'm actually quite proud of it. In fact, so proud of it are we that we have decided to RELEASE THE CHICKEN UPON THE WORLD---

This is an in-game enemy, a Plains Chicken, and you wouldn't know it's an enemy from the happy look on its face. I borrowed influence from very many depictions of cockatrices -- and let's be honest, any rooster with this sort of bright plumage ultimately draws influence from the fenghuang (or houou in Japanese), the Chinese phoenix, the personification of the harmony of yin and yang, which is sometimes interchangeable with the rooster in the Chinese zodiac.

BIRB

This could make me a vegan and not eat roast chooks anymore

I dont care that its an enemy, i would just pick that thing up and hug it all day. :3

That's an S-Rank Birb for sure.
