at the end of it all

At the end of it all, it was well worth it getting here, if nothing else.

Drawn and coloured on Autodesk Sketchbook. Thing must've taken me upwards of six hours, at least. I took for influence plenty of Kingdom Hearts concept artwork. In the end there were so many bright details that caught my eye that I wanted to keep this image the way it turned out.

I made sure to present the only physical copy I made of this image to Matt first, before finally putting the digital image up here.

Great as always!

Congrats 4 teh frontpag

Oh man, this is a really cool scene you drew! I remember back when I was in middle school and I played EBF2 on deviantart...

Troisnyx responds:

The first time I ever discovered EBF was when EBF3 was out; I happened to be in uni at the time. It seems to have quite the lasting impression on us, doesn't it? 😁

So glad you like this btw. Thank you~

The Gates of Heaven.

Beautiful skies, beautiful mountains and beautiful style. Some things could have been textured better or shaded more but that doesn't make this drawing not pretty. Wings are pretty hard to get right so perhaps some more wing practice wouldn't hurt, but I got to say that those folds in the clothes are really well done!

Troisnyx responds:

Thanks for the kind words and honest review! 💖 I only recently learned how to draw some wings but yeah, it wouldn't hurt to do more.

The thing that I have especially found unwieldy about the drawing are the rock textures; it can sometimes feel like more attention is being given to them than to the characters.
