One of 17 expys initially based on The Felt(homestuck) that were plopped into our dnd campaign (among other imported nonsense in our game)
Now how would you speak of a man like this hmm?
Where do you even start?
His mysterious guidance over enemies and allies alike?
His paradoxical ownership of the most powerful magic item in existence?
The fact that he's always been here, and will be until the end?
The suicidal albino tiefling girl he's fostering?
The fact that he's the godling of time?
Or how about how he lives deep in the depths of the universe, amidst elder gods and their dream walking clerics, atop a giant strobing star, inside "The Oldest Home" which sits upon it? Yes, let's start there.
The Man who Felt the End, or "The Felt" is a simple blind man who has manipulated this universe since it's beginning. And although entirely blind, near omniscience never really made that a problem.
He does this from the comfort of "The Oldest Home" a mansion both in the middle of the universe, and whatever town/city the Billiard Boy's have currently set up as their territory.
You see, The Felt is the true leader of the Billiard boys, in a technical sense (second to true leader if you REALLY want to be specific) And as much as she doesn't like it, 8, and her boys, answer to him and his instruction when called.
It is often that he sends them on menial to dire missions that inevitably pertain to the way the main timeline is meant to be, even if that means screwing over the same people he is meant to guide.
There is no point discussing The Felt's ability, he has all of them, among numerous others that are not important. End of story.
All there is left to say is this, as an adventurer, mercenary, criminal, or whatever you'd like to classify yourself as, be weary of the work you take.
You never know when a job you've taken for quick gold will snatch you up and lead you down the rabbit hole of strange billiard themed mobsters, the delicate innerworkings of time and space they handle, and the complete Entropy that looms over both them, and the universe as a whole.
