Loony Lizard

Share

This is an old pic I savaged from one of my old flash drives. I originally drew it when I was really bored at school and time to kill then I forget about for months. In the end I'm glad I found it and finished the piece.

And before anyone asks this is an made up lizard species for one of mine fantasy world NOT a dragon..... I repeat NOT a dragon, thank you.

Well enjoy !!!

Drawn and painted from the ground up in photoshop cs4 and drawn with an wacom indous 3. Time no idea..........

Plz, don't use without permission.

Thank you ^_^ !!!

Awesome piece!

I'm a fan of reptilian art, and this particular piece strikes me as very well-done. Honestly, I don't see where anyone would get the idea that the lizard is a dragon, apart from the large eye. The jaws are shorter and narrower, much more like an anole lizard than those of a dragon, and the teeth are smaller, too. Maybe it's the little spiny projections from the nose-tip and the top of the head that do it, as well?

toshema responds:

Yes, I agree sooo much. I thought it didi look like a lizard. However people on Deviantart.com kept faving it and putting it into dragon folders and such. So, I didn't want that kind of confusion here.

Well, thanks so much for the good review ^_^ !!!!
